Well, basically, because I'm kind of a feminist XD No, just joking. I believe that anime girls deserve a directory for them, because they RULE!~ =P Apart from that, I considered it a cute idea, and above all, because I have wanted to own a directory for a long time. ^^;; I just hope many people join! =D
For those who don't know much of Japanese (including myself), Hana to Yume means "Flowers and Dreams". Although it sounds quite feminine and somewhat fits the general idea of an anime/game girl, it's actually based on a shoujo manga magazine, also called "Hana to Yume". Popular manga series as Fruits Basket and Yami no Matsuei (Descendants of Darkness) were serialized there.
This is version 3 of Hana to Yume, called Winter Born. It features Kurosu Yuuki from the manga (and upcoming anime, btw) series Vampire Knight by Matsuri Hino. Yuuki is a girl who doesn't remember anything before she was 5, in a winter storm, so she considers she was born that day. Mysterious...
